His grandfather learned to play the accordion without a teacher, his father is a wonderful accordionist and a talented teacher. Everything was predestined long before Egor was able to decide anything by himself. As a result - the accordion player across the generations — Egor Zabelov. He dreamed to become a football player in childhood, always mentioned this in school questionnaires, but desire for music self-expression eventually took over him. The first impulse to compose music appeared while he studied in the music college, then his first music piece was composed — "Sonata", which included several "Prodigy" tracks. It seems this was his first and the last work as Egor has firmly made up his mind to stop composing music. This was his first local success, he took first place among the students of the college. At the time of the studies in Music Academy, Egor took part in several international contests, he became a prize winner in one of them. At that time his first interest to rock music and playing accordion parts in it appeared. Not with its usual sounding but with a more intense, energetic one. There were tendencies towards this even in his first work "Sonata". The theme of his first album's main composition was taken from it. This was the beginning of Gurzuf band. |
